New beginning, news and minor excitement

New Job

You might be aware from Twitter, that I’m moving jobs, and am starting next week at Isle, a Cambridgeshire-based digital communications company as a web developer. I’ll be working primarily with .NET and SQL, with some PHP and of course HTML and CSS. I might even be able to push the use of HTML5…

I did of course enjoy my time at Information Transfer and learned a lot, but working for a digital agency is something that I’ve wanted to do and I’m delighted at being able to follow that.

HTML5 Gallery

In other news, I’ve also become a co-curator at HTML5 Gallery. Created by Rich Clark, the site aims to showcase sites that use HTML5 for markup, and to help people learn about HTML5 and how it should be used and how to implement it. I’ve been a follower of this site for a long time and am thrilled to be part of it.

…and now for something completely different…

I received October’s issue of BBC History magazine the other day and was excited to see that a tweet of mine had been printed! Last month they had asked for Tweeters to review the excellent series The Normans and I responded and my tweet was published! A small thing I know but I was well pleased.
