I’m a web and software developer, born and bred in the Republic of Ireland and now residing in the town of Meerbusch-Büderich, near Düsseldorf, in Germany.

I work as a web developer where I spend my time fiddling about with C#, VB.NET, PHP, SQLSERVER, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3 and JavaScript.

I’ve just written a book on HTML5 Multimedia: Develop and Design.

As well as blogging here, I also write articles on HTML5 and web development in general over at PC Pro magazine and I curate at HTML5 Gallery and have occasionally guest posted at HTML5 Doctor.

Besides web development I can usually be found with my nose deep in a history book, or out walking in the countryside.
